Class Reports

Each of you is to present a report to the class over a website selected from the online resources “Other Heroes” page, related to either the “modern” or “pop culture” heroes.

Your report must follow this outline:

1)     Introduction of the website and its focus (person, institution, hero, etc.)

2)     Review of the basic features of the website—topics, resources, other links, etc.

3)     Summary of the discussion of the hero presented or the criteria for selection of “heroes” in the institutions area of interest

4)     Your interpretation of the hero pattern(s) or type(s) celebrated in the selection of its heroes.

Your report should be no less than 5 minutes and no longer than 10 minutes before the class.

The report will be presented during the last class session.

In the case of a large enrollment or time is insufficient for oral presentations, you will be asked compose a written version of the report following the outline above and submit it during the last class session.
