A Letter from Dr. Geoffrey Grimes

Hello, everybody! 

Welcome to English 2343. I am delighted that you have chosen Mountain View College or the Dallas TeleCollege for continuing your undergraduate studies. We never take it for granted that you have selected the Dallas County Community College District  in a community with many fine options for higher education. 

As we begin this course, I am entering my 38th year of college teaching, a career which has taken me from Texas Tech University where I earned my Masters and Ph.D. in English to Mountain View College of the Dallas County Community College District where I have taught full time since 1971 and where I have served as the English Department Chair. 

I hope you enjoy this course as much as you will grow in your knowledge and experience of some of the greatest literature ever written, and I look forward to assisting you in any and every way possible.
