Wallace Stevens, William Carlos Williams, Marianne Moore, and Hart Crane each wrote masterpieces of poetry that reflect strident individualism and a tenacious commitment to perfection.  Each writer worked and reworked the texts in order to shape both language and the forms of experiences their works reflect.
