Evaluating Internet Resources (Return to the Unit 3 Table of Contents) Instructions: 1) Read carefully "Evaluating Online Sources," noting particularly the various academic and professional site descriptions and "Some Warnings." 2) Find five online websites over the Internet that address some aspect(s) of your social issue and its related controversy. At least one of these should be a website maintained by a college or university; at least one should be a site belonging to a professional organization; at least one should be a government document accessed from a government website. The other two may come from one or two of these same types of sources. 3) Using the formats illustrated in the discussion of
the MLA Style for citations and documentation
in Writing From Sources, construct the formal bibliographical entry
for each of these and e-mail them to
