Students must attend class sessions in order to pass the course; students may miss only once. Some assignments will be submitted during these meetings that will not be accepted by email or other submissions.

English 1302 Online is a course in academic and persuasive writing that completes the two-semester credit writing program at Mountain View College and the Dallas County Community College District. This online section offers you the full course plus access to various writing components available on the Internet. Its Honors Library highlights outstanding student work completed for the various units of study while links to the instructor give you the opportunity for daily consultation and immediate feedback on your work.

Students who have completed the first semester of college composition at an accredited college or university may be eligible to enroll in this course, subject to instructor approval.  To inquire, please contact Dr. Geoffrey A. Before you inquire, however, be sure to read the Course Overview and Orientation which provides course information and other support important to distance-learning students. 

Note: To take full advantage of online features of this course, including instructor "Comments" files, students must use Microsoft Word.  No files submitted in other word-processing file types will be accepted.  The Dallas County Community College District supports only MS Word in its on-campus computer facilities.
