Unit Overview Matriculating from the classroom to the job and into a career requires an ability to present oneself cogently and attractively to a potential employer. Chapter 14 highlights important preliminary personal surveys that help an applicant to focus on skills, experiences, and goals that complement the needs of company or business. Exercises in drafting cover letters and both traditional and electronic resumes will help you to assess your training and experiences that will valuable assets in selling yourself to an employer. |
