Fall course: Monday - Wednesday - Fridays: 11:15 a.m. - 12:10 p.m.

Welcome to the website for Cultural Studies 2370, a course exploring the rich cultural and ethnic diversity of the Mountain View College community and its service area in the Oak Cliff section of Dallas, Texas.

Initiated in the Fall semester of 2000, CUST 2370 focuses on the theme, "Fiesta Oak Cliff," a motif open to a continuing examination of the growing Latino populations in Southwest Dallas County.  Taught jointly by a team of instructors from Mountain View College and the University of Texas at Dallas, the course is an integral component in ethnographic research funded by a grant from the U. S. Department of Education Fund for the Improvement of Post-Secondary Education (FIPSE). MVC Image
